1. The FDA…recently suggested doctors learn about Acupuncture for Pain Management as the opioid crisis flares

2. The New Jersey State Board…that regulates Physical Therapists recently notified providers that they could no longer provide dry needling after July of 2017

3. The Attorney General Office in Oregon…recently sent their opinion that the practice of dry needling is not within the scope of practice for Physical therapy. Stay tuned for more developments on this.

4. A recent study in Beijing…was the first of its kind after its results showed that there was peripheral and central sensitisation at acupoints in patients with unilateral shoulder pain. Analysis shows that Shoulder pain is the third most common musculoskeletal disorder.

5. A Kitten named Chloe…is making the rounds on social media. Chloe had denervated hind legs. Her first Acupuncture visit, and she was able to shake her tail and stand up. Good news, as we all know, Acupuncture can help Animals too!
